February was a heavy metal month for some of music's top stars, who all celebrated new gold or platinum certifications from the Recording Industry Association of America, or RIAA.

Rihanna scored a triple platinum certification -- that's sales of three million copies -- for her 2010 single "S&M."  Waka Flocka Flame earned triple platinum certification, too, for his 2010 song "No Hands."  Drake snagged a double platinum award for his 2009 song "Best I Ever Had."
